Clearly there’s no more bad blood between exes Kate Beckinsale and Matt Rife — because sources say they were getting VERY handsy at a Golden Globes after party on Sunday night!
The 51-year-old actress and the 29-year-old stand-up comic were an item way back in the day — back in the day of 2017, that is. Rife was only 21 at the time, with Kate clocking in at 43. And they went hot and heavy in that age-gap relationship, but they didn’t last… Have they gotten back together now, though?? Word on the street is they hit up Beverly Hills hotspot Spago for Netflix‘s Globes after-party on Sunday! Hmmm!

According to Page Six on Monday, the duo got touchy-feely and kissy-kissy! One insider explained to the outlet:
“They were kissing and being affectionate with one another. Her arms were around his neck and his arms and hands were around her waist… They were very close and then I saw them kiss a couple times.”
Uh, whoa!
Reconciliation alert?!?! Welllllllll, maybe. Or Maybe not. See, Sunday night’s fireworks didn’t lead to a full-on make-out session. At least not at Spago — and not according to that source. Or a second one! The outlet cited a follow-up insider, too, who added this bit of context for the romantic rendezvous:
“They are friendly exes and were having some funny conversations.”
Uhhh what?! Let’s be honest, there is a world of difference between “having some funny conversations” and smooching! Come on, now! Plus, it sounds like the moment occurred as things were winding down at Spago. Noting that the sweet sitch happened “near the end of the night,” the first insider revealed:
“They were in front of everyone in the corner of the main dining room. By this time it wasn’t packed, people were filtering out.”
Again, hmmm…
BTW, there’s also an entire second side to this possible romantic reconciliation. As you may recall, back in 2019, Rife made some super-rude comments about Beckinsale and warned her then-new boyfriend Pete Davidson against dating her. At the time, Rife even said there was “not a chance” he’d EVER get back together with the Serendipity star. Then, four years later and after being faced with a barrage of criticism for his rude remarks, Rife actually apologized for his comments.
And now, we’ve got a Sunday night Spago spit-swap to add to their love story! Clearly, Kate forgave him for those years-old remarks after their relationship fizzled. Sooo, could a reconciliation be on the horizon or what?!
