Kate Gosselin is clapping back at her son Collin in a LOUD way.
On Tuesday, the mom of eight shared a new video on TikTok offering followers an update on her new rescue dog, but as we previously covered, she got sidetracked in the comments with questions about all of Collin’s abuse allegations. But one supportive comment in particular elicited a very BOLD response from the 51-year-old.

One user shared personal details of a bitter feud she’s in with her own adult child and offered up some supportive comments for Kate… who responded by claiming Collin is “mentally ill.” She wrote:
“Thank you! YOU understand! Sadly, Only parents who have a mentally ill child understand! It’s so tough and I’m learning that ppl have NO ability to understand unless they’ve been through it themselves.”

As we’ve been following, Collin has been estranged from his mother for YEARS after she placed him in a mental health institution at just 12 years old. In the time since, he’s opened up about the alleged abuse he suffered at her hands as a child. He seems to be well aware of her harsh comments, and it’s only firing him up to share more allegations ahead of his memoir release in October.
