Kate Gosselin is not staying silent.
In the aftermath of her son Collin‘s memoir release, in which he claims he experienced disturbing child abuse, Kate continues to deny the allegations.
Earlier this month, when replying to a fan’s comment on social media, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star wrote:
“I know rational logical ppl or anyone who has dealt with mental illness understands what’s going on here”
This not only hurt Collin, it infuriated his father and her ex-husband Jon, who has since spoken out multiple times urging her to stop talking about Collin’s mental health.
Recently, he even suggested Kate should face criminal charges, telling Entertainment Tonight:
“She needs to stop. He is not mentally ill. I would definitely have grounds to sue Kate for defamation and libel. I don’t even think it’s suing. I think it’s just criminal charges. So that’s up to the state. It has to be criminal. Let’s put the shoe on the other foot. What if I did these so-called things? Where would I be sitting right now? I’d be sitting in a jail, I’d be wearing a jumpsuit, and we’d be doing a live feed. Let it be known. There were a lot of people that could have done something and did nothing. And I have your names.”
Now, according to a new report from TMZ this week, Kate is speaking out once more.
A fan left her the following comment of support on TikTok, encouraging Kate not to reply to commenters who believe she abused her son:
“Protect your mental health. I am a mother, and many lies have been told about me. Mothers like us—who sacrificed everything for our children—are somehow blamed for everything. Don’t bother responding; let them think whatever they want. They’ve already judged you and passed their verdict. It’s as if millions of people were living in your home—it’s absolute madness. I wish you the very best; you’ve done your part—now go and be happy.”
And Kate agreed, calling out the “bitter haters” in her comments:
“Thank you. Yes I totally agree. I was ‘guilty’ when I was silent and now that I’m responding, I guess I’m saying too much that is true and that makes sense so now they say I’m ‘guilty’ for answering. What a bunch of bitter haters! I AM happy and nothing they can say can change that!”
““Sometimes telling the truth doesn’t always bring help, it just makes you realize how alone you really are” – truest thing I’ve heard all week”
And she responds with her own “quote”…
““Sometimes telling lies brings you lots of pity and attention, but it’s still lies nonetheless.””

While promoting his book, he told Fox News Digital:
“I’d like an apology, simply put, an apology and for her to admit, and just take accountability for what she did. And to say, you know, ‘I’m sorry that I’ve soiled your name, and I’ve made every effort to bury you, to protect my reputation,’ I think that’d be very honest and very powerful for her to say that … just show accountability because everything she’s done to protect her reputation, it’s all been at my cost.”
