One of six students enrolled in the footwear design program at De Montfort University is about to have it made!!
Because one of them will have designed a pair shoes hand-picked by Kate Middleton herself when she visits the university of March 8!!
Kevin Guildford, head of the department, is THRILLED his program was chosen to participate in the contest.
He says:
We were thrilled when the Palace asked for six designs for the Duchess to choose from. It’s the most fabulous opportunity for the students who couldn’t hope for a bigger fashion icon to endorse their designs.
The students selected to compete are: Sam Sawkill, Summer Spencer, Kay Yeng Cheng, Tabitha Duffield, Becka Hunt, and Mei Chun Lai.
