And it is just a tad uncomfortable-looking, so now we know that even royalty can take awkward family photos, LOLz!
Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip joined Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince William and Kate Middleton at the Diplomatic Corps Reception held at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.

Not surprisingly, Kate was the jewel of the night in a red Jenny Packham gown and Princess Diana‘s diamond tiara, AKA the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara, atop her head (below)!
Of course Prince William was no slouch, looking fancy in his uniform. Peep those bow-covered shoes, voluminous pants, and black stockings, haha!
