Besides popping out 8 kids, what has she done to validate this behavior?!
Kate Gosselin was acting high and mighty at the Stars Stripes & Skates charity ice skating event in Connecticut on Saturday.
“Before she got there, it was very diva-esque,” said stage manager Kari Hoffman.
Although this was for charity, Kate demanded that the Heritage Foundation of 9/11 foot the bill for transportation from Washington D.C. to Danbury – a 5 hour trek!
One of the skater’s mothers offered to pick up Gosselin and her boyguard, Steve Neid, in a 2010 SUV, but as the car arrived, she refused to get in! Her bitch Neid told the generous woman, after her lengthy drive, that she needed a stretch limo with a divider.
Reeeeeallly?!
And it didn’t get any better when they arrived at their destination!
“It was really difficult to find a place to get her into the building because she wanted a side entrance, no crowd, no parking garage, and she needed to be dropped off right next to the entrance,” divulged Hoffman. “It took three security guards and two others to get her to her dressing room.”
Kate even snubbed several other attendees, including Real Housewife of New York City star, Jill Zarin and Hairspray actress, Nikki Blonsky!
Zarin, who was skating that night, took the time to introduce herself to Kate away from the cameras, but her bodyguard was not having it.
“It completely threw her off guard and Steve stepped in between them, attempting to keep them apart,” said Hoffman, who was assigned to keeping the TLC witch happy.
And as Blonsky was about to continue her hosting duties, she got a little surprise from Neid as he “protected” Kate, while she was waiting in the wings for her introduction.
“Nikki finally comes out of the bathroom and we’re trying to get her to the stage, but the security guard blocks her from getting to the stage!” continued the stage manager. “He didn’t bodycheck her, but he definitely nudged her out of the way.”
Even A-list skater Johnny Weir felt her participation in the show was a burden!
“She didn’t even look at anybody,” he said. “She did her little speech in the beginning of the show and left. Kate Gosselin was playing the diva act├óΓé¼┬ªI was disappointed to meet her and I was so disappointed she was involved in the show. It was such a waste.”
