On Wednesday, Katherine Heigl attended the 2016 Television Critics Association Summer Tour Party in Beverly Hills, CA to promote her new legal drama, titled Doubt. Of course, this outing came shortly after Miz Heigl’s former costar Seth Rogen opened up about the blonde beauty’s shady comments about their 2007 comedy, Knocked Up.

In case you forgot, the Grey’s Anatomy alum SLAMMED the Judd Apatow led movie as “sexist” a few years ago — which, at the time, totally blindsided her peers. Still, it seems as though Katherine has put all of the drama behind her as she only had kind words to say about her former on-screen flame while out on Wednesday.
When asked about Seth’s recent revelations, Heigl simply stated:
“I think he’s handled it so beautifully. I feel nothing but love and respect. It was so long ago, and I just wish him so much goodness. I felt that from him, too.”
Now that’s what we like to hear! Not to mention, it appears the 37-year-old’s career may be on an upswing since the mid ’00s controversy. How do we know this? Well, the Jenny’s Wedding actress’ latest TV show has her starring alongside current “It Girl” Laverne Cox. Unfortunately, unlike her brief stint on State of Affairs, Katherine is NOT a producer for this show… but she’d certainly like to be.
On her new project, Katherine dished:
“I actually loved being a producer. It was so fun for me. It was so engaging in a total different way. I’m really trying to get them [CBS] to let me be one.”
Hey, if you keep up this nice girl behavior maybe CBS will grant your request?? Anything’s possible…
