Katie Couric is weighing in on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding.
Over the weekend, John F. Kennedy’s grandson Jack Schlossberg re-posted Lauren’s Vogue cover, in which she poses in a dazzling Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown complete with lace sleeves and a lengthy veil. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

But where some have been praising the dress, Katie sees a bit of history repeating — and NOT in a good way! Under Jack’s post, the journalist left a SCATHING comment criticizing Lauren’s “tacky” look and the $50 million nuptials, which took place surrounded by the rich and famous in Venice, Italy:
“Welcome to the eighties — when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back.”
OMG! She did NOT hold back! The question is, does she really hate the dress? Or is it more the whole showy, expensive, ostentatious affair she has an issue with?
Jack has since deleted the post, but not before he responded to Katie’s comment re: the ’80s:
“Let’s bring back scrunchies.”
HA! Katie and Charlize Theron should have a conversation!! They’d definitely have a LOT to say about all this!
