Katie Holmes is clearing up the rumors surrounding her teen daughter’s financial status.
Earlier this week, an insider told DailyMail.com Suri Cruise came into a LOT of money when she turned 18 in April… Like, enough to make her a “millionaire” — all because of a trust fund Tom Cruise reportedly set up for her as part of his and Katie’s divorce agreement:
“It is part of the divorce deal that a trust fund provided by Tom Cruise be shared with daughter Suri Cruise when she turns 18, and it is substantial. She was allowed to access it when she turned 18 in April. The rest of the money will become available to her once she enters her 30s. The trust fund was carefully constructed so that she does not get all the money at once and becomes overwhelmed.”
But the Batman Begins star begs to differ!

On Sunday, the 45-year-old took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the DailyMail.com article, which she typed over in black letters revealing:
“Completely false”
Whoa! She went on to directly call out the publication, adding:
“Daily mail you can stop making stuff up”
She simply added in the post’s caption, “Enough.” See (below):
Damn!
In the comments, fans praised the Mad Money star for speaking up:
“Good for you for standing up to them! Not enough celebs do that. Always rooting for you!”
“Katie, people are bored and unsatisfied about their life. I’m so sorry. We love you.”
“Ignore them Katie you are amazing”
“she is a good and courageous mother”
Another fan, however, asked Katie why she’s “feeding into” the drama:
“Why are you feeding into this? Nobody cares! Be a good mom and that’s all that matters…”
As of now, it’s not clear if it’s also false that Katie set up a separate trust fund for Suri.
