This is such an uplifting story!
Katie Holmes was all smiles as she attended the premiere of Marvel Universe Live! in Brooklyn.
That’s because before the show, Katie held a meet and greet with a bunch of kids fighting cancer from the Sunrise Day Camp — A summer camp created especially for children with cancer.
Marvel’s new stage show kicked off yesterday at the Barclays Center, and will play in 85 cities over the course of two years.
The show will star fan favorites like Thor, Captain America, and 23 other heroes and villains.
And Katie wasn’t the only star who got to meet with the kids!
Nastia Liukin and Rajon Rondo were also there to share in the moment.
We hope all the children had a great time meeting Katie and getting to see their favorite comic books come to life!
