Katy Perry is in trouble again!
The pop star is facing backlash for her antics on Instagram as fans are dragging her for comparing her change in hair color to Donald Trump replacing Barack Obama as president. Wait, what???

During an Instagram live session, one fan noted that they missed the A-lister’s dark locks. This inspired the Chained To The Rhythm singer to clap back:
“Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Oh, OK. Times change. Bye! See you guys later.”
I’m sure we can all do without @katyperry right ??? #Loser pic.twitter.com/r9bQcuaCBi

Awkward! Almost immediately, the superstar realized she misspoke as she added amid giggles:
“I should leave now.”
Not to mention, a pal who was riding in the car with the 32-year-old was heard telling Katy that she’s “cut off.” Nevertheless, it didn’t take long for fans to slam Orlando Bloom‘s ex on Twitter (below) over the controversial joke.
Wow Katy Perry. The reference to former Pres. Obama was offensive & a poor, tasteless attempt at humor. Your privilege is showing.

Sometimes when I think that the world is an awful place, I remember that Barack Obama has more Grammys than Katy Perry, and I feel better.

Not Katy Perry pretending to be a woke activist then making an insensitive joke comparing her hair to Obama pic.twitter.com/uex3jZ8orS

What does black hair have to do with Barack Obama? You’re cancelled @katyperry.

Yikes.
Sadly, this is just the latest controversy the Roar artist has faced in 2017 as she was also criticized online for comparing herself to a Hindu goddess and for collaborating with seemingly homophobic musicians, Migos. Although Katy has yet to comment on the outrage surrounding her joke, we’re sure she’ll apologize at some point.
Maybe it’s time for Katy to just take a break from the Internet?? Just a suggestion…
