Now this is how you throw a surprise party!
Over the weekend, Katy Perry put her party planning skills to good use as she helped her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, celebrate his 40th birthday. It’s said the Roar singer caught her man off guard by throwing him a party in Palm Springs, CA.

Many A-listers attended the event, including Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, but the number one guest was definitely the Pirates Of The Caribbean star’s mom, Sonia Copeland Bloom. Bloom was so thrilled to see his mom at his party that he posted on Instagram:

If you’re feeling a bit left out, there’s no need to fret as the celebration was well documented on IG. At one point, Perry shared footage to her story of Orlando blowing out the candles on his two-tier owl cake (below).
Not to mention, the British cutie and his guests were seen wearing onesies with Orlando’s face printed all over them. Since the world has already seen Bloom in his birthday suit, the onesie seemed particularly cheeky!
In fact, we almost got to see Katy’s beau fully unclothed once more as the actor, along with Miz Aniston’s husband and other pals, went shirtless toward the end of the evening (below).

However, prior to all of this fun, Orlando and Katy stepped out for Sham Ibrahim‘s Palm Springs art show. The hitmaker was practically unrecognizable as she had a new blonde ‘do and donned wire-rimmed glasses. Perhaps, Katy wanted to match her peroxide-made blonde BF just in time for his party?
