One of Katy Perry’s comments in her recent Teen Vogue interview sparked a heated conversation among the ladies of The Talk: Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, and Sheryl Underwood
In the mag, Katy was quoted as saying:
“I’m tired of being famous already. But I’m not tired of creating.”
Miss Ozzie Oz was none to pleased with Katy’s ungrateful attitude, and brought it up on her chat show:
“What are you doing you silly little girl?!├óΓé¼┬ªYou wanted it, you got it, now shut up!”
Sheryl Underwood added that perhaps dating a fashion model and sitting front row at fashion week is not exactly shying away from fame, either.
Katy THEN took to her Twitter in defense, tweeting:
O the joy of something verbally said being taking out of complete context in PRINT. This is why there’s a continuous ├óΓäó┬Ñ/├ó╦£┬╣ for the media world
U see, the fame quote was spoken in jest (which is typical of me) BUT it’s not really about that. The fact is: my success, & u my fans have
afforded me the most incredible luxury: to grow as an artist & a human. THAT, I could not be more grateful for.

The Fame doth provide and it can destroy…be careful what you say, Katy dear!
