Way to maneuver yourself into the mainstream, Mr. Cronenberg! You’ve come a long way since your super bizarre film Naked Lunch.
According to recent reports, Keira Knightley MAY replace Marion Cotillard to star opposite Robert Pattinson in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis.
As we mentioned before, the film is based on a Don DeLillo novel, and the story is about “financial wunderkind” Eric Packer who “risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a tumultuous day.” His actions also put his life at risk, in this film which takes place in a “slightly futuristic metropolis.”
Knightley would star as Eric Packer/R-Patz’s love interest in the film.
According to IMDB, Knightley is also starring in director Cronenberg’s upcoming Sigmund Freud/Carl Jung film A Dangerous Method, so we’re thinking there’s a good chance she’ll make her way into this film as well.
