Kelsea Ballerini SHADES Chase Stokes While Addressing Her Personal Life For First Time Since Split!

Kelsea Ballerini is doing better than ever now that Chase Stokes is out of her life!

On Monday, the country music star took to Instagram Stories to do an “Ask Me Anything” with fans. She answered questions about her dog, Dibs, her upcoming tour in Australia, and even her personal life. Yeah, she’s finally talking about it. Pereczious readers know that Kelsea has been going through it lately, all because of her messy breakup with Chase. Back in September, they split out of the blue, shocking everyone. However, the two sparked reconciliation rumors weeks later after they were spotted out together and more.

Sources confirmed that Chase and Kelsea were giving the relationship another shot, but the reunion didn’t last long. The Outer Banks star dropped two cryptic posts to the ‘gram late last month about the split, saying he is “blocked” and “did nothing wrong.” Hmm.

The Baggage singer reportedly “had a lot of trust issues,” and the relationship became “so rocky and toxic.” Ultimately, they had to break up. Whether or not it is for good? We’ll see. A Dailymail.com insider later said Chase “is trying to get her back.” Kelsea may not take the bait, though. Not when she finally feels she is in a great place again without him.

During the Q&A on Instagram, one fan asked:

“How are YOU?!? You heal a lot of us, what do YOU need?”

Kelsea gave an honest answer… and threw a bit of shade at Chase! The 32-year-old performer responded:

“Thank you for saying this and asking. I’m in a steady and happy place right now, truly excited for this Australia tour and the holidays.”

She is in “a steady and happy place right now,” so clearly things weren’t that way with the actor before! It sounds like their relationship really was rocky, as sources previously suggested. If Chase is trying to win her back, he may want to just throw in the towel now! Kelsea seems done with him!

The I Sit In Parks crooner then went on to ask a “favor” of her fans:

“If I had one favor, it would be honoring that I’m trying to make my personal life personal for now. Unless it comes from me, it’s not from me. And that is really important in protecting my peace right now.”
