Not only did gurl get married in secret to NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha– she still won’t talk publicly about her relationship.
But Kerry says she stays silent now because talking didn’t work out for her! She says:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm walking around in the world with my ring. And when people say congratulations, I say thank you. But I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to continue to not talk about it and just let it unfold. I don├óΓé¼Γäót want to sound smug about it├óΓé¼┬ª but the point is to do what├óΓé¼Γäós best for me.
I have girlfriends in this business who talk about their personal lives, and it works for them, and I love it. But not for me. I learned through experience that it doesn’t work for me to talk about my personal life.
I├óΓé¼Γäóve had earlier times in my career when I did talk about it. I was on the cover of a bridal magazine. But I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót just turn around and say, ‘I only want to talk about the good stuff, but not the bad stuff.’ So I just thought, ‘OK, no more.'”
Yeah, we hear that! It can be tough to be so public and happy and shout from the rooftops about your new relationship! But talking about why it didn’t work out? That part isn’t quite so much fun!
