Kevin McHale is fed up with all the talk about the so-called Glee curse!
Perezcious readers know three cast members from the beloved show have tragically passed away far too young. In 2013, Cory Monteith died from an accidental overdose at only 31. Later, in 2018, Mark Salling died by suicide at 35 after being convicted of child pornography. Then Naya Rivera tragically drowned in Lake Piru two years later while trying to save her then 4-year-old son Josey Dorsey from drowning. She managed to rescue him but ultimately didn’t have the strength to survive herself. She was only 33.

Because of those three deaths, fans started to believe Glee is cursed. And the conspiracy theory is alive again this week, all thanks to co-creator Ryan Murphy revealing this week that he wants to reboot the series. Well, Kevin doesn’t want to hear or see any of it! He went off on X (Twitter) on Wednesday on people spreading the conspiracy theory for their lack of humanity:
“let me log off today because the way too many of you talk about real people who have passed as a ‘sacrifice’ or a ‘curse’ in regards to a tv show is f**king diabolical and untethered from any sort of humanity or reality. get f**ked.”
Oof…
Enough is enough already. Regardless of whether people mean it as a joke, it’s obviously not funny. The cast is not laughing. At this point, respect their wishes and drop the curse talk.
