Messy, messy.
Keyshia Cole has been a bit of a spitfire in recent months, and now that tiny fire is probably heating up because her hubby, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, has just been arrested for assault and battery!
He was released today after the arrest, but the case is far from over because he’s still being accused of punching another man and breaking his jaw while in New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival.
But it sure sounds like the Cleveland Cavaliars player thinks it’ll be smooth sailing through this case. He commented about the arrest:
“Earlier this month during the Essence Music Festival, I was involved in an incident with other individuals while I was out with my wife. It’s unfortunate that some see opportunity in taking advantage of people who work hard for what they have achieved. Once all the facts of the incident come out, I expect to be fully vindicated.”
We’re not totes sure what went down here, but it definitely sounds pretty damn bad.
We just hope Keyshia keeps quiet on this one because she has a history of saying some cray cray shizzz!
