Kanye West Starts KUWTK Drama With Corey Gamble - But Khloé Finishes It!

Do the Kardashians hate Kris Jenner‘s longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble??
We have to be honest, this is not the drama we expected to get this season on Keeping Up With The Kardashians *cough*JordynWoods*cough* but we are here for it.
So what happened?
It all started when Kanye West threw down the gauntlet at Gamble over text message.

Kim Kardashian West explained in a konfessional:

“Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you, we’ve never met any of your family members.'”

Whoa, that was out of nowhere! Or was it..? Kim continued:

“Of course we’ve all felt that way and thought that, but for Kanye to just so bluntly say that to him — I feel like that was the wrong choice to make at that time.”

They’ve all felt that way?? Are the Kardashians just quietly tolerating Kris Jenner’s man??
Apparently so. Well, maybe not anymore?
The Momager has been dating the 38-year-old since way back in November 2014. They’ve had their ups and downs, but after nearly five years he’s become a fixture on KUWTK. Like a lamp you no longer notice.
But Yeezy obviously spotted something he didn’t like. What that was we obviously can’t say for sure…

Kourtney Kardashian defended Kanye’s intentions in attacking Corey — saying it was more protective than anything else:

“He is very paternal, though. He tries to take care of all us.”

Awww.
It was Khloé Kardashian, the other protective member of the fam, who admitted she also is weird about her mom’s BF (who is just four years her senior, BTW):

“Kanye’s delivery wasn’t great, but the essence of what he said is true. Corey does tend to be pretty secretive and that does have me pretty guarded… We don’t know Corey like that.”

How long has she felt like that? Basically the whole time — which is much longer than she thought:

“After my mom got her divorce, I was like, ‘Okay, this probably isn’t going to last.’ I just didn’t feel the need to get that connected or attached. Then when I saw time progressing and the relationship was still there, we tried to get to know him, but he has not been receptive in this whole thing.”

How did Kris react to all this??

“I just wish I knew why [Kanye] has to bring bad energy into the field at 6 o’clock in the morning. I would never disrespect somebody and say that.”

The drama came to a head when Kris invited Khloé and her bestie Malika Haqq to Palm Springs — and the girls’ weekend turned out to be a double date with Corey.

Khloé kept quiet then left early, and that was too much for Kris. She explained:

“I think it’s really unfair to direct this attitude towards Corey. Her behavior is just uncalled for… It’s really important for Khloé to understand that she really needs to get on my bandwagon because Corey is a part of the family, he isn’t going anywhere and she needs to be nice.”

So Kris sat her daughter down for an impromptu family therapy session.

She totally used “I” statements and everything, saying:

“Nobody really slows down enough to take a look at it from a bird’s eye view of my life. I want you to recognize that when you do question my relationship with Corey, it isn’t okay and it hurts feelings. I think what you guys don’t realize is Corey is really taking care of me like no one ever has in my entire life.”

Aw.
Khloé surrendered immediately, conceding:

“I want you to be happy. And I don’t care who you’re with as long as they’re good to you… You have to life your life for you and be happy and if you are, that’s great. I support you and I want you to feel like we’re happy for you, because we are.”

So Kim, Khloé, and Corey all sat down for peace talks.
Corey, who can actually speak as it turns out, told the girls he just wanted to be on the “peace train.”
