Lamar Odom’s family may be bummed about his engagement, but Khloé Kardashian is apparently THRILLED!
A source told E! News the KUWTK star, who was married to the retired athlete for several years, is “happy” for the 40-year-old and his new fiancé Sabrina Parr.
The insider revealed that because KoKo has long since “moved on” from the Lamar chapter of her life, she’s nothing but ecstatic over the news that he found love with the personal trainer, telling the outlet:
“Khloe wants Lamar to be happy. She has always had hope that he would find his way and live a long and healthy life. She’s happy for him if he has found happiness again. The chapter of her life that she shared with Lamar is closed and she has moved on. She harbors no ill will or jealousy… She wishes him nothing but the best.”
How kind and probably 100% totally true, LOLz!
The ex-NBA star announced his engagement with Sabrina on Monday, after just several months of dating. While the couple were naturally excited about the news, not everyone was celebrating — namely, Lamar’s son, Lamar Morales Odom.

As we reported, the 17-year-old left a disconcerting comment on his father’s engagement announcement, writing:
“Not a text or a phone call to see how people who’ve know this dude his whole life to see how we would feel or react… Knew shawty for 4 months and already got you twisted. Family n friends already don’t approve of homegirl but already she got your ass inna sunken place… Shame family gotta find out on social media but that’s been how life been all the time as the son of an Odom.”
The star’s son ended up deleting his comment and apologizing for it on his own IG the following day, writing:
“Last night I was emotional seeing my father got engaged through social media. I was hurt and caught off guard. At the end of the day, I am a teenager, that is becoming a young man. I have to be responsible for what I post, I have nothing but love for my dad and want what’s best for him.”
Unfortunately for Lil Lamar, this isn’t the first time his dad’s been carried away by a whirwhild romance: as fans remember, he exchanged vows with Khloé one month after they met back in 2009!
Lest we forget, Khloé and Lamar’s marriage came to and in 2013 when the Good American mogul filed for divorce. Their proceedings were eventually paused as the ex-baller recovered from a 2015 drug overdose before their divorce was finalized in December 2016.
