Criticize Khloé Kardashian all you want, but do NOT come for her best friends!!
ICYMI, Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians saw Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq McCray helping Tristan Thompson pick out a flashy diamond necklace as a surprise gift for KoKo. The expensive gesture certainly had everyone talking — and it appears people are very PISSED the twin sisters helped orchestrate the whole thing!

During the episode, Malika offered up an early explanation as to why she and Khadijah were down to help out their bestie’s cheating ex-boyfriend:
“Tristan reached out to see if we would help him give Khloe this gift. Of course we said yes. I think that Khloe’s priority is to have peace in her relationship with Tristan. And if this is just one step towards him showing her that he wants her to feel better, I think it’s good.”
Hmm. Does she really think entertaining presents from an ex who publicly cheated on her friend (TWICE) is going to make things better?
The NBA player recently made it clear he will stop at nothing to get back in his baby momma’s arms — so, how exactly does a diamond necklace AND the giant pink “promise ring” he also gifted her come off as a peace treaty??
We’ll wait…
It’s clear the dude was just shooting his shot once again and fans were quick to pick up on that energy, with many of them taking to Twitter to call out the women for helping Tristan with his plan!
That’s when True Thompson‘s momma hopped into the conversation and fiercely defended her gal pals from Twitics who apparently don’t know the full story. She began a series of tweets, (below):
“I keep seeing people criticizing my best friends. My best friends would never do anything to hurt me. I can say that with full confidence! You guys don’t know the entire story. EVER!! You watch 44 minutes of an episode and really think you know it all.”
But, what else don’t we know, gurl?? It seemed pretty obvious to us!
Urging her followers to focus on their own lives instead of hers, she continued:
“Stop talking about my friends. Focus on your own lives, which I’m pretty sure is NOT perfect. People love to have an opinion when they’re behind a computer screen. I’m fine with opinions. Just make sure you live the life you so quickly judge others about.”
When a fan sent a message to Khloé reminding her there are people out there who love and support her decisions, she replied:
“I could never forget. People can talk about me all they want. I’m cool with that. I’m used to it. But don’t talk about my friends! They are nothing but incredible.”

As we mentioned at the top, the 35-year-old will not stand for any shade towards her besties! But, can Khloé really blame us all for being concerned here?
The starlet tried to hide it at first, but seemed visibly smitten by the pricey jewelry and it’s hard not to think her pal’s involvement with it would influence her decision to be nicer to Tristan.
Although, after talking things with Scott Disick, it sounded like the momma-of-one wasn’t going to read too far into the pro athlete’s attempts at winning her over. Instead, she’s focusing on their co-parenting! She noted:
“Tristan is really trying to show that he’s sorry on a daily basis, whether that be a nice gift, a text. I do appreciate that because I know that he’s trying. So, I think we’re slowly moving into the right direction of being friends, as well as excellent co-parents.”
Hopefully, that’s the only direction those two decide to move in.
