Take a trip down memory lane with us and relive Khloé’s disastrous dating history… as today is the year mark of the INFAMOUS Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson cheating scandal imploding!
Lamar Odom
From the start Khloé’s marriage to Lamar Odom was on shaky ground; we mean, they got married after only dating for a month! So the fact they lasted 20 times as long as big sis Kim Kardashian West and her NBA hubby Kris Humphries is proof there really was some love there. However, there were also serious problems…
Early on in their relationship, Lamar was the famous one in the couple. After all, he was a basketball star, she was… the daughter of one of OJ’s lawyers who was on a reality show? 2009 was weird. But Keeping Up With The Kardashians had already been on a couple years and was rapidly growing in popularity — so much so the couple got their own spinoff titled Khloé and Lamar. That caused problems between the two as filming all the time proved to be too much for the athlete, and he nearly walked off the show. And Khloé only got more and more famous. Whether that upset the balance of their relationship is mostly speculation. What isn’t a question is the cheating.
We heard rumors for months Khloé suspected Lamar of being unfaithful, so much so she eventually hired a private eye to bust him. At the time there was reportedly evidence of the NBA star hooking up with at least five different women. Yeesh. But it wasn’t until months after that, in December 2013, that Khloé finally filed for divorce.
She later confirmed the cheating officially in the following season of KUWTK, breaking down:
“Let me tell you something — last year on my birthday, I lied to everyone, because I had to lie and say I was with my husband, when in fact my husband was missing with another girl, OK? And I lied, and I gave up my Beyonce tickets to Kendall, that’s how badly I was hiding. And I didn’t have a birthday, I was alone, and lied to everyone.”
It was a huge moment for Khloé.
Lamar also struggled with substance abuse around that time. But that came to more of a head down the road…
French Montana
Look, French Montana was always going to be just a rebound after the Lamar split. Sure, Khloé threw herself into it, and it lasted a long while. (And French got a LOT of time in the spotlight and on TV. Just sayin’.) But even she had to admit during one of the most confessional moments of Kourtney & Khloé Take The Hamptons:
“I jumped into something cause i was just like, lonely and destructive, but now I’m like, i just want to be alone.”
But even the short-lived fling with the rapper wasn’t without its drama. At one point the Kardashian sisters allegedly pressured Khloé to drop his ass after he lied about hanging out with Kim during a trip to Dubai — because he was really using the time away to cheat with another girl!
We never got confirmation on that infidelity, but the couple didn’t last a week after that rumor came out either.
James Harden
James Harden may actually have been Khloé’s most well-adjusted, stable boyfriend ever. Unfortunately their relationship happened to coincide with one of the scariest moments of the reality star’s life, when her ex Lamar suffered a drug overdose while at a Nevada brothel in October 2015 — and ended up in a coma.
All-around good guy James even came to the hospital and stayed with Khloé to give her a source of comfort. But the complicated feelings which arose from almost permanently losing her ex-husband threw the entire thing into disarray. They parted ways shortly after that.
Tristan Thompson
This… is a big one. One big relationship anyway — two big cheating scandals.
Khloé started dating Tristan Thompson in late Summer 2016. It’s all sunshine and rainbows — if you ignore the fact his ex is pregnant with his baby at the time. Awkward. But apart from that, sure, a totally perfect adorable couple.
Less than a year into the relationship they got pregnant. It was a huge step for Khloé, who was very open about how scared she was to make the commitment. But she was all in and happy as can be.
Cheating Scandal Pt. I
It was in April, just days — heck, hours — before Khloé gave birth to daughter True Thompson when multiple reports broke claiming Tristan had been spotted with another woman, first at a club and then back at his hotel. Then more came out. There was enough video and photographic evidence across various outlets — reports of Tristan with FIVE other women in total — to make him nearly impossible to defend.
The relationship is touch and go at this point, but eventually, despite the protests of her family, Khloé makes it clear she is going to forgive Tristan and stand by her baby daddy. The couple are never the same again, but they’re still holding together… until February 2019.
Pt. II: Into The Woods
On February 19, multiple outlets reported Tristan had been all over another woman at a party — and this time it wasn’t some stranger; it was Jordyn Woods!
Jordyn was BFFs with Kylie Jenner and had long been close with the family. She had even modeled Good American for Khloé.
Reports from inside the party claimed everything was chill — until Tristan suddenly made everyone either leave or turn in their phones. Just moments later Jordyn showed up and got very comfortable with Tristan, casually sitting on the basketball player’s lap. Initial reports said they were making out on the couch, while she said he kissed her goodbye before leaving the house in the morning. Those reports were followed by more accusations Tristan had cheated at a party on Valentine’s Day as well.
This was all shocking for Khloé, obviously, who saw the same reports the rest of us did. What a way to find out! She tried to keep the drama behind closed doors, but a scandal this juicy won’t stay hidden. Even before it aired on KUWTK four months later, we were hearing everything, from the immediate (and overdue) breakup to Tristan’s denials to Jordyn playing innocent.
It was an awful thing to happen to a brand new mom, but Khloé is strong and finally kicked the cheater to the curb. And thankfully she hasn’t taken him back…
