Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson continue to put their differences aside for the person who matters most to the both of them: baby True!
It totally makes sense, too, as the 14-month-old is the last person who should have to suffer for any of her parents’ mistakes!

The Revenge Body host opened up about the awkward dynamic that still exists between her and the Cleveland Cavaliers player following the cheating scandal with KarJenner ex-BFF Jordyn Woods that ended their relationship for good. In the latest issue of Us Weekly, she explained:
“I think Tristan and I broke up, like, five months ago, so it’s still sometimes awkward, but I think we’re both doing a really good job. I mean, whenever he wants to see her, he can.”
The KUWTK star and NBA athlete ended things earlier this year in February after the tryst was made public, but it sounds like the 35-year-old isn’t ready to cut her baby daddy out of the picture completely. At least for her daughter’s sake!
She continued:
“It’s all about the baby! You put your kids as a priority, and they come first. Nothing else matters.”
Well, that’s good news for Tristan! And their daughter!
At least the 28-year-old still has direct access to True, even if his relationship with the Good American creator is pretty much tarnished beyond repair.
It’s unclear how much time the former couple will actually spend together as a family though, as the dust has barely begun to settle around that explosive, two-part KUWTK season finale which detailed the unforgettable betrayal by Jordy from the KarJenner point of view.
It’s safe to assume at this point that daddy dearest won’t be over everyday for play dates.
But considering the fact that the National Basketball Association is essentially on summer break at the moment, Tristan can absolutely find some more time to present in True’s life over the next few months.
In fact, during the initial fall out from the scandal, he was pretty confident this would be the case in the end.
A source close to the athlete and Kardashian fam told Us back in February:
“Tristan isn’t too worried about not seeing True, or Khloe establishing new rules when it comes to coparenting. He honestly doesn’t really care and was over it. He was never trying to win Khloé back.”

Interestingly enough, the poppa of two recently sent a pretty sweet but completely random HBD message to his second baby momma for her 35th, which kind of sounded like he did want to eventually work things out with her…
Although, a People source shut that thought down completely and reiterated that co-parenting is about as far as it’ll ever go for these two.
“Khloé didn’t really get why he posted it. They have a child together, but are not together. Her family thinks he posted it because he wants to make himself look good. Tristan and Khloé co-parent True, but that’s it.”
