Days after 16-year-old Hannah Anderson was rescued from Idaho after her kidnapper, who murdered Hannah’s brother and mother, was shot and killed by police – the teenager stepped out in San Diego for her first public appearance since her terrifying ordeal!
The young lady was spotted getting out of a car with yellow sunglasses and was with her family at a private fundraiser set up by her local community.
Her father Brett Anderson came out to talk at one point and thanked the local community for supporting Hannah during this time. He said:
“This is a small community that we are a part of, and the community came together putting on this great fundraiser for Hannah and hopefully for her future and healing. This is how Lakeside rolls.”
We’re glad to hear that the family’s community is being so supportive of this emotionally scarred teenager, and we hope Hannah is able to grieve in a timely manner.
