Kids' Lack Of Exercise Is Top Parental Concern

The University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children├óΓé¼Γäós Hospital conducted a National Poll for the sixth year in a row on children’s health.
The number one parental concern? Insufficient exercise.
Number two? Childhood obesity.
The CDC recommends at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day for kids and adolescents but physical education isn’t federally mandated.
Seems like schools need to step up their game!
Investigators said:

“While lack of exercise is certainly linked to the second most commonly identified concern├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥childhood obesity├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥exercise is a notable new top concern in the Poll├óΓé¼Γäós annual top 10 list.”

We think the best way to get kids moving is to try and get them involved in sports.
Even if it’s frisbee or laser tag, any movement is better than none.
