Kids Smoking Less Cigarettes...But Are Smoking More Pot Instead

Teenagers smoking less cigarettes
Good news! Fewer kids are smoking cigarettes these days!
Bad news? They’re smoking more pot instead.
The 37th annual Monitoring the Future survey polled about 47,000 8th, 10th and 12th graders about their use of drugs and alcohol.
Less children than ever before are smoking cigarettes, while marijuana use has steadily increased over the past five years and is actually at its highest in 30 years.
The actual good news discovered by this massive survey is that alcohol use by teens is at its lowest level in 15 years.
We hate to be pessimistic, but we’re guessing that’s only because it’s easier to get weed.
