We still can’t believe Freddie Prinze Jr. SLAMMED his former co-star so hard!
In case you missed it, Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s hubby was at Comic-Con over the weekend and he SERIOUSLY dissed Kiefer Sutherland!
Well it looks like the 24 actor isn’t taking the comments lying down and his people (and then some!) have already responded to Freddie’s harsh words!
His rep said:
‘Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than 5 years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie’s grievances. Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.’
Well, at least he’s not taking the comments to heart!
But his rep isn’t the only person speaking out on behalf of Kiefer!
An executive at FOX made it a point to speak up and defend the 24 star!
He said:
‘[Kiefer was] nothing but professional during the run of the show and is beloved by cast and crew. It’s so out of left field, 5 years later. We wouldn’t have done another 24 if Kiefer were anything like Freddie described.’
Well, that’s certainly an innnneresting development!
They certainly make a compelling argument in defense of Kiefer! But why would Freddie lie about something like this five years later?
There’s gotta be at least SOME truth to the rumors… right?
