In an awesome move, and one that could never come too soon, Kim Kardashian has donated a load of money to a cause that will help prevent gay suicide!
The reality star broke out her checkbook and scribbled out a sum of $50,000 to the Trevor Project!
She has worked with them before, and it’s so fab that she loved working with them so much that she’s willing to do so again — and plans on visiting the actual call center in the near future!
Here’s what someone close to her said:
“It’s important to Kim to support The Trevor Project because lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people face extreme levels of hate and discrimination in her generation and she knows that they need safe places like the Trevor Project to turn for help.”
For whatever reasons she has, we think it’s an amazing thing to do, and an incredible cause to get behind.
Gay suicide is such a terrible tragedy in every case, and unfortunately, there are way too many cases.
