You can’t put a price on fame, but Kim Kardashian West can put a hell of a price on getting you there. $17.8 million, to be exact!
That’s what Ukrainian billionaire Marina Acton forked over when she purchased Kim and Kanye West‘s Bel-Air mansion back in November, with the clause that the reality star needed to use her media influence to help make the aspiring singer become famous. Yes, really.
A source close to the real estate deal told The Blast that Marina and her husband, a WhatsApp co-founder, paid way over the property value for Kimye’s home because of the Kardashian konnection.
Now, Kim is contractually obligated to promote Marina’s burgeoning singing career on her social media and hang out with her in public at industry events.

The KUWTK star seems to have already fulfilled her end of the deal since the sale, which included making an appearance at the single release party for her “new friend” Marina’s song Fantasize.
The Wests bought the property for $9 million in 2013. The Actons reportedly never fully moved into the home, and are instead trying to flip it and make back their money at an asking price of $18 million.
