Kimmie, who successfully pled to Donald Trump the case of Alice Marie Johnson, a grandmother sentenced to life without parole for drug trafficking, wasted no time tweeting the article out for the attention of California Governor Jerry Brown, asking:
“please add Kevin Cooper to your legacy of smart, fair and thoughtful criminal justice reforms.”

The NYT article suggests that a DNA test could exonerate Kevin, who is currently on death row, but the clock is ticking as the Governor’s term ends in January.
If Kim can talk to Trump about legal matters, she can definitely handle this!
