Looks like Kim Kardashian and politics just aren’t meant to mix!
We know Kim has been dead set on getting President Barack Obama on her side, but she’s apparently been given the brush off a few times. Which isn’t so surprising when you realize he’s dissed her and Kanye West more than a few times.
But yet, Kim seems to still be chugging away to get a little time and acceptance from the Prez.
Her most recent attempt? Earlier this week, she attended the same gala as Obama that was marking the 20th anniversary of the video testimonials project by Steven Spielberg after his movie Schindler’s List.
And she brought her political pants to the event as she commented about her desire to be there:
“[I’m] extremely passionate about getting people to acknowledge the Armenian genocide, and the foundation here has acknowledged 400 Armenian genocide survivors and gotten their testimony, and I’m really proud of that. And I’m here to represent the Armenians!”
But representing Armenians didn’t seem to be her only goal at the event as it’s rumored she was hoping to get some time with the Prez.
Unfortunately, it seems his Secret Service wouldn’t allow it, despite Spielberg and his friends chatting up the main man all night:
“Kim was let down and disappointed. She didn├óΓé¼Γäót understand why she just couldn├óΓé¼Γäót say hello to him. Ever since landing the Vogue cover, her ego is even more out of control. In her mind, she and Kanye are more popular than the President Obama and the First Lady!”
We wonder what she would’ve said had she met him.
Would she have invited him to her wedding? Would she have yelled at him for dissing her in the past?
Or maybe she just wanted to show him pics of North West!
