Kim Richards Says She's Been Sober For More Than 30 Days! And Now She's Spilling Some Surprising News About Her Role On RHOBH!

As we reported earlier this week, Real Housewives star Kim Richards has finished rehab and says she is in LOVE with her sobriety.
However, has the troubled reality TV personality stayed away from the bottle?!
It turns out…
YES! In fact, the 50-year-old says she has been sober for more than 30 days! Congrats!
On Wednesday, she spoke out about her new found health.
The former child actress said she wanted to get help because of her tumultuous home life:

“I love sobriety├óΓé¼┬ª I’ve always loved sobriety, and relapsing was very hard for me. It was not easy. I have to say, don’t take this wrong, but I really wanted to go to treatment because I needed a break from what I was going through at home.”

But what exactly was happening behind closed doors?

“Monty, my ex-husband, is very sick and my son wasn’t well. And I had to give away my dog, and I wasn’t talking to my sister [Kyle Richards].”

She even gushes about the positive effects rehab has done for her:

“I went in and I got to learn a whole lot about myself├óΓé¼┬ª I dug deep into my past, things that happened to me as a child, good and bad, teenage years, relationships with all my loved ones, where they need to be mended, where they’re very powerful. I worked on me.”

But was there a particular impetus for this change?
Surprisingly, the thespian credits her infamous arrest at The Beverly Hills Hotel in April.

“Actually, my arrest was my ‘a-ha I get to go away now and rest and take a break from all this’. I don’t want anybody to take this wrong, but I truly needed a break from hospitals, family, the pressure. I needed to go away.”

Now that she has maintained her well being, is there any possibility she will return to the Bravo show next season?

“My representative did speak to them├óΓé¼┬ª They have asked me to come back.”

If this is true, we are definitely excited to see Kim back on TV!
