Oh no! King Charles has been hospitalized amid his ongoing cancer battle!
Buckingham Palace revealed the news in a statement to People on Thursday. They explained the 76-year-old monarch had to go to The London Clinic “following scheduled and ongoing medical treatment for cancer this morning.” However, things didn’t go perfectly as His Royal Highness has some issues:
“The King experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in [the] hospital.”
Scary! Because of that, Buckingham Palace noted King Charles’ events for Thursday afternoon had to be postponed. Thankfully, he was released and is now recovering at Clarence House but “as a precautionary measure, acting on medical advice, tomorrow’s diary programme will also be rescheduled.” They then apologized “to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result.”
His health comes first, no matter what! We think anyone who was supposed to attend those events will understand! At least, we hope! No further details about what happened were given at this time. However, palace sources told People that his recovery is generally moving in a positive direction.
