The members of Kings of Leon are talking about their disgusting poop ordeal in which the band was pelted with pigeon feces while performing at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis.
“Jared [Followill, the band’s bassist] was hit several times during the first two songs,” said Andy Mendelsohn of Vector Management. “It’s not only disgusting ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ it’s a toxic health hazard. They really tried to hang in there.”
Some of the poop even landed in his mouth while he was singing!!
GROSS!!
The singer, who’s also a self-professed germophobe said:
“I was hit by pigeons on each of the first three songs. We had 20 songs on the set list. By the end of the show, I would have been covered from head to toe. The last thing I was going to do was look up, but if that was only a couple, we must have caught them right after a big Thanksgiving dinner.”
The band’s publicist made a statement saying, “We want to apologize to our fans in St. Louis and will come back as soon as we can. No fans got pooped on as far as we know.”
LOLz!
