WTF?! It was an honest mistake!
No need to be a jerk about it!
Kris Allen took to Twitter last night to inform fans that he was going to surprise them with an impromptu performance at the Santa Monica Pier last night, but unfortunately, right in the middle of his set, the fuzz forced him to pull the plug because he didn’t have a permit!
And then after Kris apologized, the officer REFUSED to shake his hand! Ugh!
RUDE!
Ch-ch-check out a video of him performing a brand new track, Should I, which he ultimately has to stop when confronted by the law (above)!
Later, he once again took to Twitter to explain:

Yeah, we wouldn’t have seen it coming, either!
Obviously, it was a spur-of-the-moment, honest mistake, but yes, celebs, for further reference, one does need a permit to perform on the Santa Monica Pier!
But we’d suggest the city authorities who treat people with a little more respect than the one being filmed here!
For goodness sake, he immediately stopped anD apologized!
In the immortal words of Tom Parker from The Wanted, MANNERS COST NOTHING! Ugh!
Thanks for staying classy and being a stand-up guy, Kris!
Sorry you got shut down!
