Kristin Cavallari is moving on with her reality TV career… and moving out of her former home! So many changes ahead!
The Uncommon James founder recently announced her hit reality show Very Cavallari would not be returning for a fourth season, as we reported earlier this week. And now, according to insiders, the 33-year-old mom is planning on picking her TV spots very carefully when it comes to the reboot of The Hills, as well!

A source spoke to Us Weekly about this “new chapter” in Kristin’s life, acknowledging the Very Cavallari call-off while adding this little tidbit about the young mom’s expected output on the MTV series (below):
“She will not be making increased appearances on The Hills. You won’t be seeing her on The Hills anytime soon other than the cameo she’s filmed … Kristin couldn’t do a reality show without addressing the divorce and she doesn’t want this to unfold on camera.”
Well then! That makes sense, at least. Lots of very personal drama to put out there for the world to see…
And yet fans — and even castmates — had been wondering over the last several days whether she would throw herself into The Hills after her own show ended along with her marriage. Lovable longtime reality TV mainstay and Hills star Spencer Pratt wrote what many of us were thinking when he took to Instagram Stories after her E! series’ announced ending, noting in two separate IG messages (below):
“K Cavi leaving her show on E! Say a prayer she’s coming to #thehills”
…and then later, a direct ask to fans (and God):
“I just want to talk to God real quick. Dear God and everyone watching this, please add to this prayer. We’d all love Kristin Cavallari to join The Hills: New Beginnings so let’s put that out there in the universe, multiverse. Thanks, God.”
Alas, it didn’t happen for the 36-year-old Pratt, and it appears we’ll all be deprived of Kristin’s always on-point reality TV presence for the foreseeable future… aside from that pre-filmed cameo, of course. What can we say? It makes sense. Let the woman raise her kids in peace!
New Beginnings? Nah, Just New Houses!
Forget The Hills: New Beginnings, and forget old family homes! Kristin — and estranged husband Jay Cutler, for that matter — are ready for their own new beginnings in new surroundings!
The pair put their 8.5-acre Nashville property up on the market this week, asking for “a little under $5 million” for the 25-room house, according to E! News. The “humble” abode is nearly 20,000 square feet, with seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, three half baths, a movie theater, and both indoor and outdoor kitchens. Whew!

They bought it back in 2012 for $5.3 million, so it looks like they might take a little bit of a hit on it. In this market, though, with the coronavirus pandemic raging, that’s kind of to be expected, is it not? Anyway, just goes to show… there are new beginnings happening here in more ways than one!
