Kyle Richards is “extremely concerned” for her sister Kim.
According to Us Weekly on Tuesday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is urging the 54-year-old to return to treatment amid her history with substance abuse issues.

Noting Kim is not “doing well” right now, the source revealed:
“Kyle became aware that Kim was struggling in recent weeks and got extremely concerned based on what she was hearing… Kyle isn’t a doctor and can’t make that determination, which is why she is trying to get Kim into treatment.”
Though the Bravolebrities have been “living their own lives for some time now,” they are on good terms.
“It’s going to be an ongoing conversation, but the good news is that Kim is being extremely receptive to Kyle, recognizing she is coming from a place of love… Kyle isn’t giving up and is trying again to get Kim to agree. It’s more for mental health than sobriety issues.”
Per insiders, Kim has not checked into treatment — as of this writing.
During the season one finale of RHOBH, the American Woman producer outed her older sister as an alcoholic.
After the second season, Kim declared to Andy Cohen:
“I’m an alcoholic.”
Though she completed rehab, the Nanny and the Professor and the Phantom of the Circus actress relapsed in 2015.
In April 2015, Kim was arrested for public intoxication following a confrontation with police at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Later that year, she was accused of stealing nearly $600 worth of items from Target. Kim was ordered to attend AA meetings and complete 450 hours of community service. Ultimately, she was officially off probation in September 2018.
Though she has been noticeably absent on social media in recent weeks, on Mother’s Day, Kim wrote a special message to daughter Brooke Wiederhorn — who gave birth to her second child with husband Thayer Wiederhorn in April.
She penned:
“Happy Mother’s Day to my Beautiful & Amazing daughter @brookewiederhorn Brookie, you are truly the most AMAZING MOMMY!! i am so so proud of you!! Hucklsey & Hunter are so blessed to have you as their mommy!! Grandma would be very proud !! And I know she looking down today as we are sending her lots love on this special day..
