How Kylie Jenner REALLY Feels About Drake Calling Her A 'Side Piece'!

Kylie Jenner drake side piece reaction

Could it be… the rare KarJenner story with no drama at all?

Things certainly seemed to be heading in a dramatic direction last month when an unreleased Drake track leaked calling Kylie Jenner his “side piece.” ICYMI, the lyric in question:

“Yeah, I’m a hater to society / Real s**t, Kylie Jenner that’s a side piece / Yeah, I got 20 motherf**kin’ Kylies.”

The rapper quickly posted an apology, saying the song had been “scrapped” years ago and that he didn’t want any of his friends “feeling disrespected.” Even so, when it comes to America’s favorite reality family, wars have been waged for less. However, word from the Kardashian camp is actually oddly chill about the whole thing. In fact, according to a source for Us Weekly, Kylie’s feathers weren’t ruffled in the slightest. The insider said:

“Kylie was not upset about Drake referring to her as a ‘side piece’ in his new song and she really doesn’t care.”

Wow! Refreshing!

Of course, we can’t let her blasé reaction to Aubrey’s casual misogyny fool us into thinking that Kylie is just a really chill person. After all, she was quick to get up in arms over the whole Forbes fiasco. Guess she’s just more threatened by someone questioning her status as a billionaire than someone calling her a side piece. Honestly, those are probably the correct priorities…

On the other hand, she may just have too much on her mind to worry about what some ex-fling of hers has to say. Besides getting booted off of Forbes’s billionaires list, her beauty brand has also experienced some serious shake ups. In the past week, there have been CEO changes for Kylie Cosmetics and parent company Coty. Plus, it now looks like sis Kim Kardashian West is moving in on her territory with talks for her own Coty beauty line.

On top of all that, there’s the ongoing civil unrest throughout the US in response to the death of George Floyd. Kylie said she hasn’t “been able to get his face and his words out of my mind.” The 22-year-old has advocated voting, signing petitions, and other ways to help via social media. She wrote on Instagram

“since watching the most devastating and completely heartbreaking video showing the murder of George Floyd earlier this week I haven’t been able to get his face and his words out of my mind. i’ll never personally experience the pain and fear that many black people around the country go through every day but i know nobody should have to live in fear and nobody deserves a death like George Floyd and too many others. speaking up is long overdue for the rest of us. we’re currently dealing with two horrific pandemics in our country, and we can’t sit back and ignore the fact that racism is one of them. i fear for my daughter and i hope for a better future for her. my heart breaks for George Floyd’s family and friends. Don’t let his name be forgotten. keep sharing, keep watching, keep speaking out, because it’s the only way we can come together to help bring this much needed change and awareness. Rest In Peace, George Floyd. ??”

We’ve got to hand it to her, that was well said!
