Kylie Jenner Slams Forbes Over Exposé Claiming Her Tax Returns Were 'Forged' & She's Not Really A Billionaire!

Kylie Jenner isn't a billionaire -- Not now and not ever, according to a Forbes expose!

Kylie Jenner is PISSED!

The makeup mogul and longtime Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has taken to Twitter early Friday morning to lash out at a brutal new exposé just published in Forbes and purporting to show how she’s not actually a billionaire, as previously claimed by that very same outlet.

Published early Friday morning, the long-form article attempted to go in-depth on the finances of Kylie Cosmetics just months after the reality TV mogul sold a 51% stake in the company to beauty giant Coty. Valued at $1.2 billion at the time of the sale, it was “a watershed moment for the family,” as the exposé itself admitted. But, as Forbes‘ journalists would go on to claim, it didn’t tell the whole story about the company’s finances — or about Kylie’s net worth.

In one particularly accusatory early passage in the piece, Forbes staff journalists Chase Peterson-Withorn and Madeline Berg write (below):

“In the [Coty] deal’s fine print, a less flattering truth emerged. Filings released by publicly traded Coty over the past six months lay bare one of the family’s best-kept secrets: Kylie’s business is significantly smaller, and less profitable, than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.

Of course white lies, omissions and outright fabrications are to be expected from the family that perfected—then monetized—the concept of ‘famous for being famous.’ But, similar to Donald Trump’s decades-long obsession with his net worth, the unusual lengths to which the Jenners have been willing to go — including inviting Forbes into their mansions and CPA’s offices, and even creating tax returns that were likely forged — reveals just how desperate some of the ultra-rich are to look even richer.

Based on this new information—plus the impact of COVID-19 on beauty stocks and consumer spending—Forbes now thinks that Kylie Jenner, even after pocketing an estimated $340 million after tax from the sale, is not a billionaire.”

Whoa!

That’s a HUGE accusation — especially the mention of “creating tax returns that were likely forged.” Isn’t that, like, outright fraud, and thus, ummm, illegal??? What are we missing here?! That’s one hell of a call-out!!!

The 22-year-old mogul herself clearly thought so! Hours after the story landed online, Stormi Webster‘s momma was up early on the west coast, and busy tweeting her displeasure with the entire thing. As you can see (below), Kylie’s incredulity was laid bare as she clapped back at the business media outlet for the damaging hit piece about her supposed net worth:

Well then!

Hit the reality TV star on social media, and she’ll hit right back!

And as Kylie herself noted, there are absolutely more important things to fixate on right now. But still. Kylie vs. Forbes is the new feud no one saw coming and we’re here to see how it plays out!!!

BTW, if you want to read the controversial article from this morning that began this whole feud, click HERE. Salacious tax return accusations aside, some of the evidence in the piece is quite compelling. Just saying!!!

BTW, anyone remember her brother-in-law Kanye West‘s verbal duel with the mag in April over a supposed discrepancy in his billionaire net worth?! He texted the outlet:

“It’s not a billion. It’s $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count.”

Reactions, Perezcious readers? What do U make of Kylie’s supposed billionaire status now — is she faking it, or for real?! What do U make of Forbes‘ jump into the fray against the social media darling??
