Kylie Minogue Reveals She & Prince Recorded An Unreleased Song In The '90s -- But Will We Ever Get To Hear It?!

Like many artists, Kylie Minogue‘s dream recording would be with Prince.
But in a touching post honoring the late icon, the Can’t Get You Outta My Head singer revealed her dream already became a reality… sort of.
The Aussie songstress sent her fans into a frenzy by teasing her “musical crush since my teenage years” recorded a demo of her unreleased track Baby Doll back in the 1990s!

On Saturday, she shared the story on Instagram, writing:

“I met Prince after his concert at London’s Earls Court in 1992. I said I would love to work with him and he said, come visit the studio. He asked me where my lyrics were and where would I like my mic set up. Joking with me. I did end up giving him lyrics for a song called Baby Doll.”

And while Minogue said they “never recorded it properly,” she did reveal the Purple Rain singer wrote music to go with her song, and recorded a demo later that very night!
She continued:

“His driver delivered a cassette to me later that night. It was a demo of Prince singing and playing the song Baby Doll he had written using the lyrics. We never recorded it properly. I then had the privilege of visiting [his record label] Paisley Park. It was a dream come true.”

Of course, this admission sent fans into overdrive asking Kylie to release a finished version of Baby Doll on her next album.
Though we’re not sure it’s possible for her to use Prince’s vocals on the unfinished track, she could always re-record the song as a tribute to the late singer!
Do YOU think Kylie should release the track, or keep it for herself?
