Lady GaGa is single and ready to meet someone who can handle her!
As we reported, the pop superstar announced her split from audio engineer Dan Horton in an Instagram Story last week, celebrating her newly single status at a friend’s bachelorette bash.
Now, a source has come forward to shed some light on what happened between the pair — and while it’s not a particularly large cup of tea, it’s still piping hot! Like, espresso hot.
It’s a piping hot cup of espresso!

The insider told Us Weekly:
“Gaga does want to date again. Dan was not mature enough for her.”
Oh? Well, damn!
It’s sad to hear things didn’t work out: the two seemed quite happy throughout their quick romance, which was first unveiled to the public in July when the pair were spotted kissing while out to brunch in Studio City, California.
As fans know, Horton began working with the Shallow singer in November 2018 before she launched her Enigma residency in Las Vegas.
The duo’s relationship was largely private, but the A Star Is Born actress showed a peek at one of their date nights back in September. Sharing a photo on her IG Story of a candlelit dinner, she wrote:
“The @dhortonaudio special.”
Horton also appeased GaGa’s wilder side.

Back in August, the two enjoyed a joint The Cure and The Pixies concert in Pasadena, California, with GaGa captioning an IG Story clip of the show:
“I love the cure, felt my old self come alive tonight what a show.”
Awww. It sounds like these two were a great fit on paper (and IG Story) — but we guess he just didn’t tick GaGa’s maturity box!

This wouldn’t be the star’s first tango with an allegedly immature partner. As we reported, she broke off her engagement to Christian Carino in February of this year, when they split after almost two full years together. The talent agent reportedly had trouble letting their romance go, causing GaGa to have to put her foot down and tell him to stop contacting her.
If only there was a truly mature partner GaGa could find. Someone who could take charge of a scene. Someone who could amicably raise a child with an ex. Someone who could carry a tune, too.
Oh well.
