Lala Kent knows when it’s her time to shine and when it’s not.
On Wednesday, the Vanderpump Rules star announced the arrival of her second child in a sweet Instagram Story post. Over a blacked out background, she wrote:
“Welcome into the world, my love.”
She added audio from the little girl’s birth and confirmed that she came a day earlier on September 3. But beyond that, the mom of two didn’t offer any details… Like baby girl’s name! And we now know why!

During the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, which aired the same day she announced the birth of her daughter, the 34-year-old admitted there was one MAJOR factor preventing her from revealing her daughter’s name: it was Beyoncé’s birthday and she knew her announcement would be overshadowed! She explained:
“Today is Beyoncé’s birthday. September 4th is her day. We can’t announce today.”
HA!
Her co-hosts Jessica Walter and Easton Burningham pressed the new momma, but she wouldn’t budge. She hilariously insisted:
“No one’s gonna give a s**t. It’s Beyoncé birthday!”
Say My Name?? More like DON’T Say My Name! Lolz!
The reality star DID, however, offer a little hint: her new daughter’s name starts with the letter “S.” She dished:
“I’m gonna wait. Baby S gets her moment.”
We can’t wait to find out what name she came up with! We’re if it will on the same wavelength as the name she chose for her older daughter Ocean?
