Lamar Odom is opening up about some of his worst moments, including from his marriage to Khloé Kardashian and his near fatal overdose.
First, let us mention that the former athlete, who is currently on a press tour to promote the memoir, appeared on The View Tuesday, and made some shocking allegations about his time in the Love Ranch brothel!

He claimed Dennis Hof, the late owner of the Nevada bordello where he suffered a near fatal overdose in 2015, was trying to kill him. Saying Hof, or someone working for him, poisoned him, Odom shares that he never intentionally took any drugs, not even cocaine, that day.
“Dennis Hof, I don’t know what he had against me but I didn’t do drugs that night. I don’t know what he had against me… He tried to kill me.”
Lam continued, adding that his legal team has evidence to back up the surprising allegation as his attorney has found employees at the brothel to second the claims.
Wow.
We know we’ll certainly be hearing more about this.
As for what the former E! reality star had to say about his ex-wife in his new memoir, Darkness to Light, the former NBA pro admits that he was once so angry with his now ex-wife while he was high on cocaine and ecstasy that he threatened to kill her. The 39-year-old recalled feeling upset that Khloé tried to enter his “man cave” while he was one of his many drug binges at home.
The KUWTK starlet tried to call Odom’s friends for help once she realized he was hallucinating from the cocktail of drugs, and could potentially need serious help.
“Khloé came down and knocked on the door. I opened it suddenly and grabbed her forcefully by the shoulders, which frightened her. ‘What the f**k are you doing?’ I screamed, out of my mind. ‘You trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I’ll f**king kill you! You don’t know what I’m capable of!'”
Lamar continued that the Revenge Body host, visibly upset and shaken by the situation, ran upstairs and slammed the door. The basketball player says he later asked Kardashian for forgiveness.
“I was embarrassed and ashamed. It was a new low for our relationship and my life … the most regrettable moment in a series of regrettable moments.”
Ugh. What an unfortunate story.
We’re thankful that Odom survived that scary situation, even though his relationship ultimately didn’t.
Our readers know that this tumultuous marriage ultimately ended in divorce in 2016.
Sources close to KoKo told Us Weekly that she “hasn’t read” her ex’s book yet. But we’re so curious about what other shocking tales are in store for readers in Darkness To Light, which hits bookstores and online retailers Tuesday.
So far, Odom has teased that we’ll learn more about momager Kris Jenner‘s true devious nature. He also shared a shocking story where True Thompson‘s momma allegedly “beat the s**t’ out of a stripper she caught with her ex-husband at a Los Angeles hotel. Crazy!
Speaking to ABC News‘ Juju Chang of his upcoming book, Lamar says he grappled with the guilt of trying to hide his drug use and sex addiction from Kardashian, saying:
“You don’t want your wife to know that you’re sniffing coke and … having sex with other women.”
And of that incident in the man-cave, he added:
“I’m pretty sure she had to be scared at that point in time. I’m thinking about it now, like, I couldn’t believe how I was treating that queen like that.”
He also told Chang he owes “[Khloé] and her family an apology. Big time.”
“Her friends and family, they had to be embarrassed.”
But if you think the star’s memoir will be nothing but jaw-dropping, salacious stories, or Odom waxing poetic about how much he misses being married to a KarJenner, think again!
The man insists that his story is actually about so much more. He told the outlet:
“It’s not a story just about the Kardashians, or drugs. It’s really a story of triumph, and overcoming obstacles. And tragedy, overcoming tragedy.”
