Landon Barker has finally addressed his controversial birthday celebration.
Last week, the 21-year-old son of Travis Barker sparked backlash online after he was caught on camera at what appeared to be a Diddy-themed party. Video footage of the event showed multiple people holding light-up baby oil bottles, which was a clear nod to the feds seizing over 1,000 bottles of baby oil from the music mogul’s home earlier this year. As you probably recall, according to a claim from lawyer Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the baby oil was allegedly used by Diddy’s crew as a “conduit” to administer the date rape drug GHB to make Diddy’s victims unable to consent to the often days-long sex acts hosted for his and friends’ amusement.
With all that in mind, someone seriously thought it was OK to bring out baby oil to this party and make a chilling reference to that?! What the f**k??

And that is only the start of how messed up this party was. Not only were Landon and his friends dressed in white, like Diddy’s infamous White Parties, but a DJ could also be heard telling the crowd in the clip:
“We’re getting really freaky tonight. We’re getting Diddy freaky tonight.”
Landon and his pals making fun of all the victims allegedly being sex trafficked and assaulted? Yeah, that was NOT a good look. It was downright disgusting, in fact. This is why after the video emerged on social media, people slammed the musician for his gross and disrespectful actions. And he went into damage control mode!!
At first, it was believed the Diddy-themed bash was to celebrate Landon turning 21. But multiple sources soon came forward to deny the event was actually for him. Instead, it was for “another individual’s birthday.” Uh-huh.
An insider also told People over the weekend that Landon had no “knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil” at it. And not only that, but he “did not participate in the baby oil service” at any point in the night. Hmmm.
And now, the Meet the Barkers alum is breaking his silence to further defend himself. On Tuesday, Landon posted a video to TikTok to deny the rumors once and for all that he had a Diddy-themed party for his birthday. Without mentioning the rapper’s name, he started by saying:
“I’d like to come on here and apologize and address the fact that people are saying I had this whole themed birthday party. First off, I’ve not had a birthday party. My birthday party is next week.”
However, he did go out to celebrate on the day of his actual birthday. Landon explained that he, his family, and his pals went to Nobu Malibu. Instead of going home afterwards, tho, he and his friends decided to stay out. One friend contacted a club promoter who invited them to a birthday party and said he would give them “a table and a bottle — make sure we are all good to go.” Landon and his pals decided to go and hang out at the table, and we all know what happened from there.
As for why he did not leave “right away?” Landon claimed he did not “know what was going on right away,” adding:
“It was a dark environment and all I could really see was another table having flashing bottles being brought out. The bottles had flashing lights underneath them, so I wasn’t able to distinguish what they were. I’m just thinking they’re bringing out tequila with the bottle. I have no idea of what’s going on at this point.”
It wasn’t until he noticed the baby oil bottles that he realized he was in a “bad situation.” Landon then swore he never touched the bottles:
“I didn’t pick up the bottle once and I did not condone. I just went to a club to celebrate my birthday and ended up in a bad situation.”
We bet next time he will double-check the theme before attending a random birthday party, just in case! In the caption of the post, Landon apologized, writing:
“My apologies go out to everyone I hurt — this wasn’t my idea and I never wanted that to happen.”
@runfromwhatslost My aplogies go out to everyone i hurt, this wasnt my idea and i never wanted that to happen
And don’t worry — he did not forget to address the all-white attire he and his friends wore for the night, either. In a follow-up video, Landon showed a picture of six guys, most of whom were wearing black and white clothing. Kourtney Kardashian’s stepson denied intentionally making them dress in all-white, saying:
“This is what was worn on my birthday. Formal attire is a white top and black pants for most people. It was like a fancy dinner. People just took their jackets off.”

We still want to know one thing, tho: if Landon didn’t host this party, who the heck thought the theme was a smart idea in the first place???
