Aoki Lee Simmons is standing up for Diddy‘s kids.
As Perezcious readers know, the rapper is currently in the hot seat after dozens of sexual assault allegations and lawsuits. He was also arrested last month for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation to engage in prostitution, and more. It’s a SUPER messy and icky case.
Over the last several weeks, his kids have attempted to lay low while trying to support him. At this point, they’ve reportedly all visited him behind bars, and they were also all present for a court hearing last week. Staying a united front! Diddy’s four children with the late Kim Porter have also spoken out, specifically to hit back at theories surrounding their mother’s death. Aside from that, they’ve all remained tight-lipped about the scandal — though it can’t be easy to be them right now!

With this in mind, during an Instagram Live on Tuesday, Aoki — who is close with the kids — urged the public to be kind to the rapper’s seven children amid his ongoing legal trouble, insisting:
“I think his daughters and children are such wonderful people, and I really hope you guys treat them with love and respect because they’re nice kids. It’s not their fault that anything — anything adults, that’s adult business, and they’re not adults.”
The 22-year-old continued:
“My little cousins, they are in school. They are not adults, so please treat them like children.”
Well… some of them are adults. Diddy is dad to Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, Christian “King” Combs, 26, Chance Combs, 18, twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17, and Love Combs, 2. Many of them are old enough to have potentially witnessed some of that “adult business.” Just saying!
Regardless of their ages, Aoki asked people to be kind, especially on social media, adding:
“That’s basic manners, guys. Like, don’t go in on kids on their Instagram or whatever.”
Hate’s never okay — especially for those who have not been named in any lawsuits and the minors. So, we get where she’s coming from!
It should be noted, however, that King was named in a lawsuit in April, in which he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman on a yacht in 2022. His lawyer told Page Six at the time that it was “just another lewd and meritless claim.” Still, it’s a big deal amid all this and shouldn’t be ignored!
FWIW, it makes sense why Aoki is coming to the children’s defense. She knows what this is like! Her own father, Russell Simmons, has also been accused of sexual assault in the past (though he has denied all allegations). So, if anyone can relate, it’s her! Also, Russell and Puff Daddy were good friends, as was her mother Kimora Lee Simmons with Kim Porter. She’s clearly close to the Combs’ family! No wonder she’s speaking out!
