We hope all the teens who participated in the National Walkout Day on Wednesday got to stay up late on a school night.
Because then they could watch as almost all of late night had their backs!
Ch-ch-check out all the HIGHlarious high fives to civil disobedience (below)!
Seth Meyers called it “a beautiful thing that I support wholeheartedly” — before making jokes about it, obvi. (0:29)
Samantha Bee got more serious, saying she “never thought anything would change” until these kids gave her hope. (2:26)
James Corden reminded politicians they work for these kids — and also pointed out that after that 17-minute Viacom programming blackout, “Comedy Central is tougher on gun violence than the United States government!” (3:48)
And speaking of Comedy Central… Trevor Noah dedicated an entire five minute Daily Show segment to the walkout.
Way to go, kids!
