Lauren Graham is NOT having it!
On Thursday night, Lauren stopped by Stephen Colbert‘s Late Show to tackle a hot button Gilmore Girls controversy… Lorelai and Rory’s coffee cups.

According to Stephen, some fans took to Twitter to slam Lorelai and Rory for their casual coffee cup holding and disregard of “physics” in one of first episodes of the revival. We can’t say we didn’t notice their object-holding issues…

Ha! We guess the mom and daughter do appear to be carrying empty cups full of LIES.
Unfazed by the backlash, Lauren responded with a big truth bomb for the haters, revealing:
“I’ll tell you a true thing… there’s always coffee in my cup.”
Well, we’ll have to take Graham’s word for it!
