We have one question for the geniuses at Frito-Lay.
WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG??!?!
The munchie making manufacturers have announced that they will be rolling out a new flavor of Lays for the upcoming holiday season, and it sounds DELICIOUS!
The new flavor will simply be an original flavored lay with ruffles, but get this. It will be covered in MILK CHOCOLATE!!!!
For those of you who are a bit iffy on the idea, the snack will be a perfect combination of salty meeting sweetness! For those of you who know of the killer combo, we’ll give you a second to wipe the drool off of your keyboards!
While the announcement is certainly exciting for most, Frito-Lay vice president of marketing Ram Krishnan says it’s simply a test run to see how well the new treat works out:
“When you try something drastically different, you have to walk before you can run. We wanted to test our way through this before we go big.”
There’s nothing wrong with dipping your feet in the water, but something tells us this is going to work out!
The chocolate covered goodness is expected to roll out some time in the next week for just a limited time and could become permanent if it’s’s popular!
