Lea Michele has always loved animals.
She recently posted to Alicia Silverstone’s website, The Kind Life, about one of her great concerns, which happen to be the carriage houses in New York City.
These horses have been a concern for a while. The conditions they are kept in have been criticized by activists and politicians, who have considered banning them altogether.
The horses work for hours a day in all kinds of weather pulling carriages of people rarely getting proper food and water.
In addition to voicing her concern for these horses, Lea says, “Sometimes I wish I could just go and set them free on some sunny field somewhere where they could just roam free and run around all day.”
Aw, Lea is such a sweetheart.
We agree with her, no animals should be treated horribly.
