Watch Leah Remini Call Her Mother A Drug User & A Slut - Because Of Scientology?? - During Her Very Candid Stop By The View!

Talk about a truth bomb!
On Tuesday, Leah Remini sat down with the ladies of The View to chat a bit about her new tell-all book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. However, it seems that the King of Queens actress didn’t only write damning things about the controversial religion but about her mother and husband too.
Don’t panic, she had a good reason!

From Miz Remini’s book, Joy Behar read:

“I am selfish and self-centered … have physically threatened people … my husband is a serial cheater and my mother was a slut.”

Whoa! Still, the reality TV star explained that she wrote those things down so that the Church of Scientology couldn’t use her past or her loved ones’ pasts as ammunition.
She explained:

“Well, I know the policy of the church when someone speaks out publicly against them. I know how they deal with people like me. So they would take something out of context or in my confessions and out that out on the street.”

Oof! As for the note about her husband Angelo Pagan, it probably has something to do with the fact that it’s been said he was still in a relationship when the duo first met.

Despite the fact that she knows the higher-ups in Scientology will target her for speaking out, Leah still feels resolved in her decision to talk about her time in the church.
She relayed:

“You’re OK to leave, just don’t talk about it. That’s why it was important for me. I could have left and after reading hundreds of stories of heartbreak I was like, ‘OK I’m not crazy this is happening to other people.’ I figured they needed to know that this was happening to other people and I that I had to take the step forward and go public.”

Well said! We hope that Leah’s book helps give her some closure about her association with the infamous religion.
